The power dynamic at my school site is held by the administration. It is very apparent because they are the ones who make the decisions for the school. This is made up of the Principle and 2 Vice Principles. They have the power for the school but they do not abuse it. They have very strong communication skills, and use those skills to make sure that they are communicating with the teachers to ensure that they are doing what is best for the school as a whole.
Administrators should have power within the schools they serve. Communication skills are key to establishing connections with the community and school. Surprisingly a lot of information is lost in translation due to poor communication skills. I have witnessed how a lack of communication skills can result in frustration for both administration and teaching staff.
